Before Hannover Stay in Hameln

Willkommen im Schlosshotel Münchhausen!

The service and kindness of the staff could not be improved

The tapestries which adorn the walls and ceiling were restored twice after fires in the castle

After lunch we toured the west wing and were amazed by the woodwork

We enjoyed a halb trocken Chardonnay

I sunk into the duvee once we decided to upgrade to the castle from the barn

Springtime outside the window as April showers bring May flowers to life

Comfortable footwear is provided

The pool is as warm as a nice bath and jacuzzi jets massage guests at the steps which lead into the water

The wintergarten sits surrounded by the serene waters that surround the castle allowing for sun and privacy

Our evening before attending the Hannover Fair would not be complete without the honor of dining in the gourmet restaurant with triathlete and Master Chef Achim Schwekendieks who was celebrating his 20th anniversary Michelin Star. Chef Achim who began his career locally, developed his skills through Hilton International and the Hôtel de Crillon in Paris located at the foot of the Champs-Élysées before returning to his hometown in Hameln will be celebrating his culinary achievement 4 September 2016 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Book your rooms early our attend the end of summer event for 125 Euro pro Person. Highly recommended, book early and possibly find a spot on the golf links.

Spass muss sein

The Creme Brulee goes unmatched. Seriously a dish I have enjoyed around the world and none even come close to the enjoyment I had having this with my wife to end our night.

Croissants and jams

The kitchen buffet is in the kitchen, the service was friendly and we spent time with the manager discussing all the great events. We hope to return in fall and for Christmas.

No time to sit at the desk and write, we need to spend a week in Hameln

The rooms in the castle have garden views, for shorter stays and a budget the''Barn'' rooms are a short walk from the castle.
